Hello diving enthusiasts!

My name is Gerd Krursel, and I would like to briefly introduce myself and the company sub-base: It all began with an order at my then job as a master typesetter in a printing company. A customer (a diver) needed a new diving stamp. I had never heard of such a thing before, and so my curiosity was piqued. The customer simply needed a standard wooden stamp with text and a motif. The previous stamp was worn out, and a new stamp plate had to be made. The drawing of two ducks was still missing, but luckily, an employee was able to quickly create it. A few days later, the customer received his long-desired stamp and was very satisfied. 

I then inquired more about "diving stamps" and discovered that there were still many possibilities to be explored. So I started working with diving stamps part-time. 

Thanks to a friendly contact, I was able to begin production of the diving logbook "sub-book." It took a few months, and then the first edition was sold. The success was very good, and a second and subsequent editions were quickly ordered. The product range was expanded, and the workload continued to grow. 

Thus, about 30 years ago, the company sub-base began its own business. Over the years, a high-quality laser was purchased to ensure rapid production of the stamps and, if possible, same-day shipping. This allows us to incorporate many individual designs and turn them into great diving stamps. The "smart-stamp" case has been the most popular diving stamp for years and has been used by divers largely without problems. 

In addition, the prints on the logbooks and mask straps are screen-printed on-site to offer a high degree of flexibility and fulfill individual requests from specialist retail partners. The range has been expanded to include fish identification products and various accessories that have meaningfully complemented the product range. Our products are now shipped worldwide, and many satisfied customers use the "sub-book" logbook system.
